" Out of life's school of war: What does not destroy me, makes me
stronger."
- Friedrich Nietzsche, The Twilight of the Idols (1899)
I see this misquoted and used in an inappropriate manner in this pop
philosophy culture of ours. If you've brushed against death (car
accidents, head injuries, surgeries, severe illnesses) and you've been
around many extreme personalities (too varied to name) who brush against
death to your inner being, there is a danger of developing acute and even
debilitating tolerance. One perspective might see that as less than noble. On a *different* note : www.particlezoo.net
