I'm still in New York getting ready to go to Tokyo on Wednesday. The weather here has been really warm. It feels like Atlanta. It is remarkable to me. It also feels like I've been here forever or never left. I'm looking forward to a change of scene in Japan and returning home to land surrounding the house and peace and quiet. Had dinner with my friend Michelle at a tiny Italian place downstairs. People are making loud noise on the street below. I'm getting ready to put in my earplugs and read for awhile and then try to sleep. A lot to do when I wake up.... Had the realization again today : I love solitude ... a warm cup of kava kava tea in my kitchen at night.
