What do Albert Einstein, William Faulkner, Paul Robeson, and Josephine Baker have in common? They joined 6 years of international protests and appeals along with Bella Abzug (arguing her first major case). May 7 is an unfortunate anniversary for Laurel, Mississippi. There is a good NPR documentary on their radiodiaries org that I found poignant.
