SWANS' JARBOE PREPS COMPILATION

In October, former Swans chanteuse Jarboe will release a two-disc compilation of 20 collaborations she's done over the past six years, titled The Men. Featured artists include: Alan Sparhawk (Low), Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten), Steve Von Till (Neurosis), Jim Thirlwell (Foetus), Chris Connelly (Ministry), David J (Bauhaus, Love And Rockets), Edward Kaspel (Legendary Pink Dots) and more. This follows the release of The Conduit, which contains two songs where she sings words and names that fans (doubling as "subscribers") sent her to help fund the recording. Jarboe will be touring Europe in October, with a group that includes Paz Lenchantin (Zwan, A Perfect Circle).
