TERRORIZER, Feb 2005:
Excerpt from the live review: Neurosis & Jarboe
London Forum

". . . Then Jarboe appears. Nobody warned this writer about the thing she does with turning her eyes inside out. A white spot shines into the empty white eyeball as she advances to front and centre like a freshly-awaken Egyptian deity, and heartbeats are skipped as we jump to the next level - the awe inspired by fear. And as she roars from depths unfathomable, we tremble in the presence, meek and cowering before the siren, the tarantula, Lilith. Three songs into her very special guest slot, the vibe changes a shade from titanic and melancholy to cavernous and evil. If anyone's concentration is broken by this point, it's a case of overload. A punter behind me sums it all up as she exits, with a muttered, drained ' bloody 'ell' ."

". . . By this point I'm thrown into the unknown. Absorbed and awestruck but also terrified, like in a hallucinogenic trip that proves too intense, one can't let go of it and it threatens to tear you apart ... "
