Current bedtime reading : “A Room Of One’s Own” – Virginia Woolf. “Sleeping Beauty and Other Favourite Fairy Tales” – chosen and translated by Angela Carter. . (Bartholomew loves this book’s vibrant illustrations by Michael Foreman) Have been singing in my living room. I’m getting ready to go out to Portland on Monday to rehearse with guitarist Brian Castillo. Brian worked with me on Anhedoniac and much of Disburden Disciple. He is a tremendous musician…… Still discussing the tour with Larsen the end of the summer. If all goes well, we will do it end of July and first week of August. The newest addition to my set is an interpretation of ‘Reason To Live’ by KISS. It works well in the context , I think. The work itself is getting more and more lean and singular of voice. … Today is cold and wet. I’m about to go out running which for me is also meditating. And remind myself that the main thing in life always is not to panic. Breathe in, breathe out.
