Last night, we played PS122 in NYC in an intimate theatre. It was tremendous. Nic blew my mind with his inspired performance. Elegant and passionate. On stage at various intervals of the show joining Kris (violin, voice) , Nic (guitar, voice) , and myself, were Julia Kent on cello and Lary Seven on acoustic bass. Ex-Swans : Bill Bronson and Algys Kizys were both in the audience. It was a great night. Thanks again to Brett Robinson for filming the show ! Afterwards, post sharing bottles of wine with friend Michelle Brouillet, Nic and I left for the airport at 4:30 a.m. as my flight for San Francisco left at 6 a.m. Now I am in California. I had a run along the beach earlier tonight and out on to the pier. The waves are crashing. It is tremendous to be so close to such massive power . I love the sounds of our home in Atlanta and NYC East Village streets and also the sound of the mighty ocean here in Pacifica. I had lunch with friends Guy and Laura today and will be spending Halloween with them as well. I like the energy of couples who have found a way to live fully in their love of each other in a healthy and lucid way. Having said this, 2005 is going to turn around the past tragedy we have experienced and return gifts of power. It is true power. The power of actualized love.
