It is a challenge to find balance in life because of all the factors one encounters with other people and events that occur to us and around us. I haven’t yet found the secret other than an awareness that whatever the suffering and stress is at a particular time, it too will pass. Therefore, remember that emotions pass through us and leave. Acknowledge them – experience them while realizing that they are departing. It may be bad and you may be in pain but emotions are not you. They are vistitors composed of chemical reactions with the brain and nervous system. Let them pass through you. Let them go.
